I've reached what is sure to be the high point of 2008, and maybe many years to come. My expectations for this were so high that it was impossible for this to exceed them, but it certainly met them. This is the best superhero movie I've ever seen, and probably that I'll ever see. The story is excellent and raises several thought provoking ethical questions that will leave you thinking afterwards. All the actors are at the top of their game, more so here than in Begins. All returning roles seem bigger and more developed and new ones are too. I'd like to say eric roberts should get some recognition as sleazy mob moss moroni. And the best part of the movie is by far Heath Ledger's performance, I couldn't wait for him to come on screen. He's so unpredictable, and there's a lot of tension as you know something bad is going to happen soon, but you don't know what. All the action scenes are superb, thrilling, suspenseful and well edited. I need to see this again just to be able to appreciate everything, but nothing will ever match the first time. I wouldn't say this became my favorite movie of all time, but it's certainly up there.

BEST JOKER OF ALL TIME. ONE OF THE BEST PERFORMANCES OF ALL TIME, HANDS DOWN.
